Thanks to River Sharks, Chapter Board Members for Successful Fundraiser
On June 12, 2009, the Camden County American Red Cross held a fundraising event at Campbell Field, Home of the Camden River Sharks. Many thanks to all the Board members who bought and sold tickets to help us raise funds for chapter programs. Although the Somerset Patriots won the game (congratulations to our sister Community Red Cross Chapter, the Greater Somerset Chapter!), everyone had a great time and enjoyed the spectacular fireworks show after the game.
Before the game, our Childrens’ Fire Safety Educator, Bill __________, and Chapter Emergency Services Director, Rick Paul, led groups of children through the Chapter’s Fire Safety House before the game to teach fire prevention and fire safety.
